Make a Difference in Your Community By Volunteering

The Rural Heritage Center offers many cultural and educational experiences for The Black Hammock, Geneva, and Chuluota communities.  Our current three large events are The Fourth of July, Founders Day, and Mrs. Claus, along with monthly Farmer’s Markets, Smithsonian Day, and other opportunities.

But we need to explore ideas for new and exciting programs and events.  So we need a few talented people to become new board members.  Please consider contributing your ideas and leadership just one evening a month.

This is our mission statement:  The Rural Heritage Center engages families and community in cultural and educational experiences by preserving rural traditions which teach lessons for present and future generations.

Help us to maintain our mission and to grow and strengthen our community support.  E-Mail us at RuralHeritageCenter@gmail.com to learn whether this opportunity is a good fit for you and the Rural Heritage Center.   We sincerely appreciate your consideration.
